What would contentment look like?

My counselor recently asked me, what would contentment look like for you? At first I thought that would be easy to answer — turns out not so much. What is happy?

Recalling Victor Frankle’s “the meaning of life is to help other people find their meaning of life.” In others words, it’s not about you:

-Be selfless

-Provide positive input

-Produce

-No one owes you anything

You owe everyone everything — your best effort, your honest and genuine you, your undivided attention. In fact, you owe this to yourself. Contentent will take care of itself (as soon as you stop looking for it and focus on someone, some cause, some purpose other than yourself).

This is the anti-”Purpose Driven Life”, with a positive spin.

Contentment for me would be not trying to fiqure out contentment.
