Very interesting. I've always been spiritually conficted about the two accounts of Creation.

I've found most of my Christian friends simply don't want to hear about it--at all. Sometimes it is written off as "Old Testament" matter (whereas it is the New Testament that is most relevant).

In that regard, another topic that perplexes me is the account of Easter and the issue of Jesus rising after three days and nights, yet we are told those three days are Friday, late afternoon (his death) to early Sunday morning (his resurrection). No account by my investigation makes that three days and nights. The night's part is critical because Jesus himself said it was included. (Incidentally, I asked my pastor and an apologetics guest speaker at our church about this. My pastor said, "I don't know, if you figure it out let me know." The apologetics speaker reasoned it didn't matter.)

If I told you today, Monday, that I would meet you in three days when would that be---Thursday or Wednesday?

Ah, the details. Do they even matter?

None of this changes Jesus's message, love God and love your neighbor are my go-to beliefs.

Now, about Noah and the flood...
