I am reading “Churchill — Walking with Destiny” by Andrew Roberts. On page 460; Churchill, after just being reappointed first lord of the Admiralty upon Britain declaring war with Germany, has lunch with close confidants before heading over to take his post at the Admirality. He then does the one thing he did throughout his life; he calmly takes a nap! In context (and there is a lot of context with Churchill and the build-up to WWII), this speaks wonders for the man, his discipline, and the value of appreciating stillness.
