How To LifeMap and Bullet Journal using Bear Notes
There are a lot of productivity and note-taking apps available nowadays. I’ve tried more than a few over the years.
For me it is less about the tool and more about an approach, a process, or a mindset. However, I have found a simplified app, Bear, that works well. Using Bear has streamlined the process and enabled me to be more deliberate and productive. Two examples of this are with scripture-based Life Mapping and Ryder Carroll’s Bullet Journaling.
Life Mapping is the practice of reading, reflecting, and journaling a daily Bible verse. There are many ways and many tools with which one may do this. This is something I have always wanted to do yet resisted. I finally dug in and structured Bear to help me get started.
A Bullet Journal is a structured yet flexible and easily customized process to get everything out of one’s head and onto paper. After doing this a few years on paper, converting to an electronic process with an iCloud based storage solution was attractive for three main reasons:
