Classic!
Recently my son and I were on a road trip, we stopped for dinner at a roadside popular restaurant and sat at the bar. It was moderately crowded so there was background noise. Multiple TV's at the bar were playing various sporting events. A man comes in and sits next to me at the bar. He was polite and quiet, for a time. Then his phone rang (with a cliched ringtone). He takes the call and proceeds to carry on a conversation. Telling his caller where he was, what he was doing, what he was ordering for dinner; all with a loud tone so as to overcome the background noise.
The most egregious part was he carried on this conversation with his caller on speakerphone.
We had the joyous bonus of hearing both the participants.
Fortunately the call didn't last too long. When done with the call the gentleman went back to eating his dinner, very nonchalantly as if nothing happened.
To him, it was normal.
